With the third stage of the Tour de France starting in Cambridge, St Columba’s was right in the heart of the action. The race passed by the church on either side, north up St Andrew’s Street, and then south down Trumpington Street, and on to London.
With thousands of people out to watch, we opened our doors to offer much needed refreshments and hospitality to those passing by.
