The first weekend in November saw grand rededication celebrations at Downing Place as we gave thanks for the completion of the massive building project of the past 18 months, and dedicated the building and ourselves afresh to God’s service.
Local leaders attended, including the Mayor of Cambridge and Cambridge’s MP, Daniel Zeichner asnd representatives from other religious congregations in the City.
The services were also attended by the national Moderator of the United Reformed Church, the Revd Clare Downing; and the Revd Dr John Bradbury, formerly minister of Downing Place and now Secretary General of the United Reformed Church.
